It was New York City in the 1980s and the city was alive thanks to the sidewalks filled with people and roads filled with automobiles. Not only were humans out and about but so were many animals like dogs being walked by their owners, cats in the alleyways, and pigeons pecking crumbs off the ground. Most notably, a male Jack Russel Terrier wearing a red bandana around his neck and a female Cardigan Welsh Corgi mix wearing a yellow one around her neck were strolling along, looking for something.
